Some people have acne on their back, which is also called bacne. However, many people who do have bacne are not as overly concerned about it as facial acne.
However, if you plan on taking off your shirt for any reason such as when you go swimming, then you would probably want to take care of that bacne.
There are many different methods for getting rid of bacne. Since everyone has back acne for different reasons, some remedies may not work while others do. In order to find out which ones work, you should keep trying different ones until you find that right one.
First thing you should do is to wash your back everyday with soap. This clears out the oils from your face which causes the acne. Avoid using products that have oil in them such as facial scrubs with oil.
Stay away from oily and fatty foods. Fried foods are also on the do not eat list. Instead, eat healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables to keep your body toxin free.
Use facial scrubs to clean your bacne. The scrubs should have salicylic acid as the main ingredient since that is very helpful in clearing up acne.
If none of the other methods works for clearing up your acne, you may have to resort to seeing the dermatologist. They can prescribe to you something stronger that should work more effectively.
Antibiotics may be used by the dermatologist in some cases. However, it is used less these days due to the bacteria getting more immune to them.
Sometimes acne on the back is caused by hormone changes. Your doctor may give you hormone balancing medication. These medications have side effects that you should understand first before using.
Do not touch or pop your pimples at anytime. By popping your pimples, you risk infection and also spreading bacteria to other places and causing more pimples to go. If you must pop, then use a needle treated with fire.
